Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence

Fell in love with Sakamoto Ryuichi' s
Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence.
It's so pretty, yet heartbreaking. It is music so inexplicable, I can't help but listen to it over & over again. One case where Law of Diminishing Utility does not apply.
It spurred me on to pick up my violin once again, the one which has been left on a shelf 4 metres above the ground.
A thin film of dust has accumulated since a year ago, with an inchoate nexus of cobwebs clinging to my violin case.
Apparently, one year of negligence has rendered myself musically-deprived. The E-string, crusted with Iron (III) Oxide, snapped the moment I turned the peg. Once pristine, now muted, wavelength squiggling lamely to a halt.
My violin is adamant on denying me. The D peg refuses to turn. Just refuse me time & time again, I've got a sore on my finger now.
I miss my violin. ):
The staccato. Is wow.
& I want to cry.
